My name is Claire O’Leary, AKA 王昕童. I was born on October 19Th, 2007, 8:38 am at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York.I weighted 7lb 12oz, and 19.5 inches long when I was born. I am half Chinese, half Irish. The name Claire has the meaning of my mom’s Chinese name, clean, clear, also Clare is a province of Ireland(Claire is commom Irish name). The combination matches my name perfectly. My mom wishes for me that I be a happy child, be optimistic, like a rising sun, that’s how I got my Chinese name. My dad calls me a Little Buddha that represents my personality. I like being in harmony. I eat, poo, sleep, think, therefore, I am.

一直想买架DSLR的相机给宝宝拍照, 在网上研究了半天,终于买了CANON Digital Rebel XTi/400D再带一个50mm f/1.4 EF的镜头,从此开始了我狗仔队的生涯。说起来真难为情啊, N年前在F.I.T上过一堂摄影课, 成绩只有C+, 什么光圈速度的摄影概念早忘了一干二净, 所以乖乖得跑去Border’s买了一本摄影教学书回来啃。(突然发现我变成了一个爱学习的好孩子, 哈哈! )

宝宝诞生 100天了, 猪妈妈终于迎来了她的春天。刚开始半夜里要起身喂奶, 换尿片, 泵奶, 因为奶水过足, 一不小心还会因为涨奶引起乳房发炎, 现在总算是有点心得,渐入佳境了。我这个新手妈妈喂养宝宝完全是按图索骥, 谢谢Miranda给我寄来的两本宝典, 从来没有那么认真的啃英文书, 还是厚厚的两大本。怀孕的时候我靠的是阅读”What to Expect When You’re Expecting” 解决迷惑, 现在认真钻研” What to Expect First Year”。好在Claire是个模范宝宝, 没给我什么麻烦, 吃饱喝足就不会无故哭闹, 身高体重一直保持在75%-90%。小妞胃口超好, 还好妈妈奶水充足, 所以我们合作愉快。过了100天后晚上开始可以一觉睡到天亮, 我也学习到了怎样预防乳腺炎, 非常有信心再继续母乳喂养6个月, 学一句曾特首的话, 我要打好这份工。
